Vision

My idea was to break away from the traditional solid-white gown and embrace maximalist elegance. By using hand-woven silk to render these motifs, the outfit pays homage to traditional Eastern craftsmanship while presenting it in a modern, Western-style silhouette. The design centers on the Paisley (Buta, Boteh) motif, a pattern steeped in history. This ancient motif originated has deep roots in Central and South Asian traditions.
